Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
At IntentEngine, we believe that your data is yours. We only collect what is absolutely necessary to run our listening engine, process your payments, and provide you with high-intent leads. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your private campaign data to train public AI models.
This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and who we share it with.
What We Collect and Why
1. Identity & Account Information
When you sign up for IntentEngine, we collect your name and email address via Google Sign-In. We use this information to create your account, provide secure access, and send you important updates regarding your account status (like when your free trial ends or your credits are running low).
2. Billing Information
If you upgrade to IntentEngine Pro or purchase a Credit Top-Up, we require your billing details. All payment processing is securely handled entirely by our payment provider, Stripe. IntentEngine does not process or store your credit card numbers on our own servers. We only store a reference ID and your subscription tier to manage your account access.
3. Campaign Data & AI Inputs
To run our engine, we store the keywords, target subreddits, and the "AI Rulebook" (personas, pain points, and value propositions) that you enter. This data is strictly used to query third-party networks and evaluate public posts on your behalf. We transmit your AI Rulebook to our AI provider (Google Gemini) via API exclusively for the purpose of generating lead rationales and suggested replies for your specific campaigns.
When We Share Your Data
We do not sell your information to advertisers or data brokers. We only share data with essential third-party service providers (sub-processors) required to operate our infrastructure:
- Google Cloud & Gemini API: For secure authentication (OAuth) and processing AI evaluations of public posts.
- Stripe: For secure payment processing and subscription management.
- Reddit API: To search public forums using the keywords you provide.
Data Retention & Deletion
You can delete a campaign or dismiss a lead at any time, which removes it from your active dashboard. If you cancel your IntentEngine account, your profile and all associated campaign data will be permanently deleted from our active database within 30 days. We cannot recover this data once it is permanently deleted.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
IntentEngine operates as a “service provider” under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We process the data you share with us solely to provide the services you signed up for. We do not retain, use, disclose, or sell your information for any other commercial purpose. If you are a California resident, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you and to request its deletion.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our product evolves. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by emailing the address associated with your account or by placing a prominent notice on our website.
